Is your ERM software Microsoft SQL Based?
The GR MED Practice Management/Electronic Medical Records Systems are written in MYSQL.
Does your software include the storage and categorization of medical chart images?
The GR MED PM/EMR Systems are able to “receive” any medical chart images for storage directly to the Patient Record.
Is your software Microsoft Certified? MPS
The GR MED PM/EMR Systems are not Microsoft Certified. They are universally compatible and able to interface with all Microsoft applications necessary for functionality.
Can a PDA be used with your software?
Yes, the GR MED PM/EMR Systems are not “software” - they are an ASP model, which allows PDA, Tablet PC and any other media using the internet.
Is your practice management software Web based?
Yes, the GR MED PM/EMR Systems are Web based (An ASP Model).
Is your software Windows XP compatible?
Yes, the GR MED PM/EMR Systems are compatible with Win95, Win2000, WinNT, Win XP, 2003 Server.
Is your software Windows 2003 server compatible?
Yes.
Does your software support electronic prescriptions to pharmacies?
Yes, the GR MED Scripts is an electronic prescription processing system powered by NewcropRx a Certified SureScripts, RxHub provider. We also offer Prescription “Dispensing” (A new, practice revenue source).
Does your software support the storage of Electronic Medical Transcriptions?
The GR MED PM/EMR Systems were the first systems to support not only storage of transcription, but the dictation, encryption and delivery directly to the patient electronic medical record.
Does your software support voice recognized transcription?
Voice Recognition software is easily formatted to deliver completed documents directly to the EMR system.
When using your software, what percentage of the medical practice becomes "paperless"?
The GR MED PM/EMR Systems are designed to meet the needs of the practice and will allow a practice to be either “totally paperless, or a combination of paper and electronic, whichever the practice requires and requests.
Does your software contain a patient message tracking system?
A Patient Message Tracking system is a minor application and can be enabled within the GR MED PM/EMR Systems to suit the specific design of the practice.
Does your software allow for consolidated electronic billing?
Yes it does. In fact, it allows for overall viewing and consolidated billing of multiple physicians, multiple practices and multiple networks.
Does your software support paperless referrals to other physicians?
Referring patients to other users of the GR MED PM/EMR Systems is easier than email and transfers as much of the patient record and demographics is desired. The physician on the “receiving end” of the referral will determine the method and extent of “paperless referrals”, but the GR MED PM/EMR Systems can support a variety of platforms including Secure eFax, FTP and Server-to-Server file transfer.
Is your software HIPAA Compliant?
The GR MED PM/EMR Systems meet all the requirements of HIPAA and then some!
Do you have any transactional fees?
There are three fee structures:
- One-time charges cover enrollment, implementation, training and custom platform development (as needed)
- Monthly charges cover unlimited system usage and clearing house fees
- Per occurrence fees are charged for supplemental services such as Dictation/Transcription, Paper Claims, Electronic Insurance Verification and Patient Statement processing.
